Hello
I am going to Kiev.I also well be going to some of the villages around
the area.I leave on the 7th and shall be home on the 18th of January.
If anyone may have a question of my trip when i return i well gladly answer them.

I am going to see what life in the Ukraine is like.
Where i live are many people that came from Ukraine villages and i do not think they are rednecks.They are honest working people.

You will have to tell all of use your story if you making it home alive or with all your belongings !
Your first time you really look like a sweet rich new tourist to the locals who look for new first time tourist to take advantage of .
Watch the taxi drivers and take note where you are at all times , these crooks will run you in and out of the city to run the taxi meter up to charge you more money for your ride .
I have been there and done that many times and learn my lesson to look like the locals and blend in when in Ukriane.
I must do a good job also of looking like the locals because I am always being asked directions in Ukrainian or Russian language buy the locals who see me as one of them .
Now days I don't even get off the plane in Ukraine without my black leather coat made in Moldova and the long pointed mens shoes made in Russian and the correct dress to blend in once you leave the Borispol airport or around Kiev .

I have talked with the people from Ukraine that now live here.
They say also it is like you say Dale.
But i do not worry.I have some people that are picking me up at airport.
Also they are so kind as to let me stay at there home.
And have someone that speaks english to tour me around.
People i have never met.It is the parents of one lady that lives here.
Also they say that they shall introduce me to a few single woman
from there village.
