I have heard stories where guys have actually gone to the Ukraine to meet the beloved, obviously an employee, and she didn't remember key portions of their hot correspondence, but was working him to her advantage in her own home town, maybe on commissions from nightclub owners, restaurateurs, etc. like the "B" girls in Vietnam, some of them genuinely lovely people just working for a living any way they could. The old saying is: "A fool and his money are soon parted". Unless you are willing to kiss it goodbye, don't send money. Let her old mother die of whatever rare disease she has to go to Moscow for. I had two nice girls tell me about their fathers wounded in Aghganistan. It could be, there were a lot of landmines there, but if they were lying it is a disgrace to the brave Russians who fought those terrorists.
