Hello everyone! What about you? How do you think? Maybe, it is easier not to have loved at all, but I think it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all, because there would beautiful moments in your memory. If you are afraid to lost, you will never get anything.Do you agree? Maybe, you have another opinion. Please, write.

Dorogaya Katerina,
It would take a foolish man to lose Katerina, I think.

Someone said "Love isn't everything, it's the only thing". It is what keeps a human alive, whether it's in the past, present or future.

And what good English they speak in Vladivostok, where it is much warmer than Boston's -18C.

One should try everything in his life, I think. Nothing venture, nothing have. In Russian language - it's better not to go to a forest if you are afraid of wolves. None the less, some wolves can be very nice :)

I think - who did not love, that not live. What has said the poet "I love and signifies I live!" And I with him completely agree. Good luck all in search LOVE!

Guys, I don't think it's politely for others to speak in Russian language in the English forum.

Hey, John, no any mistakes :) Just little misspelling in "khorowaya".
By the way, I think you can use informal manner here, like "du" in German.

It already not first message on russian in english forum. And more so, message was personal.
Jhon, if you want get good practice in russian, you can participate in forum in russian versions website. Practice be very good.
And really there you can use informal manner - "??" in Russian ("du" in German). In English is only "you" ("??" in Russian, "Sie" in German).

It is an age-old question, but still a difficult one to answer.

Life is love, and to live your life having not loved another is a tragedy and a waste.

It may be the ultimate risk v. reward situation. When you love someone you put yourself at great risk of being hurt, but the reward of a love returned that is true is the greatest blessing in life.

I was in love once and had my guts ripped out when I was betrayed. I swore I would never open myself up to that kind of pain again. In the time that has passed since then I have leaned that the lonleliness and incomplete feelings of a life without love is far worse.

To answer the question, I have to conclude that it is better to have loved and lost. I feel that anyone who has experienced love would agree that it is a force (more than an emotion, more than a feeling) that everyone should be lucky enough to experience. The person who has never loved would of course avoid the great pain of loss, but they would, perhaps without even knowing it, have a different kind of pain - a numbing dead inside kind that I argue is much worse.

Just my .02

It is better to have loved and lost it than to never have loved before. You learn different things everytime you fall in or out of love. And you really learn alot when you have had your heart broken. For different people it is a different thing, but part of the human condition to forget that lesson when you fall back into love. It is sad but true. Good luck in all that life brings your way.
Always,
Ashley

The love never happens without grief. But it is finer, than grief without love.

It is better to have lost love than to never had experenced it. Love comes and goes. I belive it is possible to love many people over the span of your life. your first "true"love will always stand out, but it should not prevent you from finding more if the situation changes. I have lost my first love, tragiclly, and I hope I will fall in love again.

Katerina! My only answer - Long live LOVE !!!

Of course, It's better to be beloved and love somebody in return.
Then you see, everything is in your hands - you can lose this love just a moment , or you can be dumped unexpectedly. I'm sure everything depends on woman. Life, or Love are very complex things. Not be afraid to lose his love if you has been tired to love him in return, or you cannot love him more.
Try again . Sooner or later you will find another LOVE. Why not?
I agree with John. The words LOVE and LIFE are equals . And the word ALIVE consists of that words. I can add - the person is happy only if she/he is ALIVE= if you Are in this LIfe in loVE.
That lies in human being's nature.
