Of course you can call me Kim. If anyone calls me Kimberly, I might look around and see who they are talking to. Not sure the last time anyone called me Kimberly. (smiling)

There is so much involved with maturity level. How a person is raised. Where they were raised. Social status, financial status, education, bla bla bla. I certainly understand what you are saying. I'm very glad for the women in your family who say what they think. I'm really not as bad as some people I know. I try to know the time and place to say certain things. Common sense. But at this site there is no reason to sugar coat it. And I am not out to hurt anyone's feelings. I would like to think that people who post questions here are looking for honest opinions and worldwide views.

As much as I would love to meet someone and maybe be lucky enough to begin a wonderful relationship either near or far, I have to be myself. I am not going to say things I think some men on this site want to hear or sugar coat everything just to meet someone. Some people do that. Eventually the true personality will come out.

Yes you are so right. Men and women have always been different. They use different parts of their brain. They think differently. I thought my ex-husband went brain dead when we got married. He was very smart and self-sufficient when we dated. Once we was married he didn't know how to do anything and could never find anything. I began to wonder if when we got our marriage certificate, if he had to make some kind of trade. His brain for the piece of paper. (laughing) That is also what makes men and women so good. Hopefully, they compliment each other. What one may be weak in, the other is strong. And vice versa.
