Very short answer YES. I have two friends who have found love and happiness, not to mention wonderful wives this way. The reason I was prompted to try myself.

Not yet, but a few possibilities. Its difficult to ascertain whose serious, whose playing the field etc. I've been surprised at the number of young women showing interest, mailing. But its early days yet!

Sunbeam if you think that my love, then you should come to the UK, we get letters everyday from the "nigerian" as we call them, they are so well known, I would have been very surprised that it hadn't reached your area. YOU DEFINITELY WOULD NOT MAKE MONEY. Perhaps you were just being facetious

Of course it is! I know lots of people that have found their life partners on-line.

I met my ex-wife on-line, and I can tell you, I thought that was it... The problems that we had later had nothing to do on how did we met, but just common life problems that could happend to any couple.

You just need to be extra-careful, as it is extremely easy to lie on-line... Scammers are not the only problem here, but for those girls that are truly serious about their intentions, there are some freaks out there as well...

Still, you can do fine, just need to be extra careful at the begining, that's it.

By the way, I would like to know if there has been something so stupid that believe any of those ridiculous letters from Nigeria.

(Well, if there is people that have "brought" the moon, there must be people that believe those letters.)

Rolando, you are right. I'm still young but I have started losing faith in that right woman for me. I use to have dreams that by my age I would be married and shared the best parts of my life with someone special. I signed up here because I got a letter from a woman about 2 months ago. I kept staring at her and then I thought to myself, what if she is real. I signed up and wrote her back...only to find out she started correspondence with someone else. Now that's a woman I really would have wanted. Someone willing to tell the truth about her status with another man. She could have easily fooled me, wrote to me and him and decide later who she wants to be with. So I guess real, honest and beautiful women do exist on this site.
