Coffee or movie for first date?

I finally asked the girl I like to go out with me. I’m really surprised she agreed to go. So I want to make sure that this date would really be perfect for her. I don’t want to scare her off with something too lavish. My plan is to take her out for coffee or maybe bring her to the movies. I heard about this outdoor movie thing where you can sit on the blanket on the floor and have some picnic-like setup. Which plan sounds better? What do most women from USA like to do on first dates? Help me please!

Hi,

I figure You may have gone on your first date already, but an outdoor movie combined with a picnic sounds nice. It combines the movie with an outdoor experience and is a little less trite than coffee or regular movie.

Hope the date worked out fine.
