By now over millions and millions people have given online dating a try and over a quarter of couples married between 2005 and 2015 met online.
As you meet more people, your chances of meeting someone you connect positively, will increase. As for when you make that connection, that is up to chance, timing, and whether you're not self-sabotaging yourself. Either way, improve yourself, improve your ability to get the most out of online dating, and you will attract a nice person into your life. The word "attract," is a key. The brighter you shine as a person of quality, the more attention you have attracted, for you shine so brightly. When your options increase, you must then be able to read people, understand people. Then your chances of connecting with someone with positive qualities will increase greatly. And you will just click.
The alternative that often happens is meeting someone through friends, which can work, but it’s limiting yourself to single people your closest friends and family happen to know. We would say that because online dating allows us to select from many more people than in-person, we have a greater chance of finding someone we like and who would be ideal for us.
