Buy tickets to any performance, game, or concert

The other important part of this equation is the timing. Unexpected time does not mean you buy flowers for her after a fight. Unexpected time means you leave a bouquet on the table with note: “These daisies reminded me of you because you’re always smiling. Have a great day.” Guaranteed you make her day.
Pitfalls to avoid:
This idea leaves you open to interpretation but it’s important not to go overboard. For example, don’t bring home any live animals unless you’re positive she’d welcome them with open arms. No one wants to have to return a sad little puppy back to the animal shelter. Also, mini-trips and vacations seem like a great way to surprise your loved one, but be sure to check out her planner first to make sure she’ll be free to go. Kidnapping her after work and driving up to the mountains won’t work if she has a 9AM meeting the next day that her job depends on. This is not to say you should give up the idea of surprise gifts; just be careful that your gift and your timing match up.
